Prior to beginning his legal career Munro attended MacEwan University where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a double minor in History and Anthropology, before completing his JD at the University of Alberta. In his time at law school, he gained experience assisting clients with their legal matters through his work at the River City Venture Clinic.
Hailing from the Edmonton area, Munro has seen and traveled a significant part of Western Canada, and the world. When he’s not busy traveling the world, he has enjoyed playing and officiating ice hockey, giving him a unique approach and insight to navigating rules and dispute resolution. Which have become invaluable litigation skills. Through hockey, traveling, and his Political Science studies, Munro gained a passion for helping people and now pursues a legal career with that aim.
Outside of the legal profession, Munro enjoys keeping up to date with the latest hockey news and analysis. You may also happen upon him in a local mall, movie theater, or coffee shop with his family.
