Timothy is also a registered Collaborative Family Lawyer and provides an alternative to traditional client matters which often ends up in litigation and the court system. Collaborative Family Law is a process that helps families to resolve their differences without the need to litigate. Not every client matter may be suitable for the Collaborative Family Law process but if a client prefers the boardroom over the courtroom then Collaborative Law may be the answer. Timothy provides practical sensitive advice which is the cornerstone of his established and successful practice. Timothy is a registered member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals (IACF) and the Collaborative Divorce Alberta Association.
Timothy is a graduate of NAIT Forestry, he holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Forest Management and obtained his Law Degree, all from the University of Alberta.
Some notable achievements are having received the Order of Athabasca University, has served two terms on Athabasca Town Council, he has numerous reported decisions and he has presented at a Legal Education Society Seminar (LESA) for lawyers across Alberta.
Timothy’s main office is in Edmonton and he also attends our Whitecourt office every second Thursday and he attends Athabasca by appointment only.
In his spare time, in the winter months Timothy is an avid skier (both cross country and downhill) with his favorite mountain being Marmot Basin. In the summer months Timothy enjoys camping with his family and mountain biking Edmonton’s amazing river valley.
