Timothy has been practicing since 2004 and currently practices mainly in the areas of Family Law, Real Estate and Wills & Estates. In the past he has practiced in the areas of Criminal Defence, Civil, Employment Law, and on occasion was requested to be an ad-hoc Crown Prosecutor by the Chief Crown Prosecutor. Timothy has appeared at all levels of Court in Alberta including the Provincial Court of Alberta, the Court of Queen’s Bench, and the Court of Appeal which is Alberta’s highest level of court. His experience includes: Chambers & Special Chambers applications, Case Management, Mediation, Judicial Dispute Resolutions, Inter-jurisdictional Support Order (‘ISO’) Applications, Trials (both Provincial Court and Court of Queen’s Bench) and Appeals. Timothy was formerly a registered Collaborative Family Law Lawyer and has helped many distraught clients. His practical sensitive advice is the cornerstone of his established and successful practice.
Timothy is a graduate of NAIT Forestry, he holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Forest Management and obtained his Law Degree, all from the University of Alberta.
Some notable achievements are having received the Order of Athabasca University, has served two terms on Athabasca Town Council, he has numerous reported decisions and he has presented at a Legal Education Society Seminar (LESA) for lawyers across Alberta.
Timothy attends our Edmonton, Athabasca and Lac La Biche offices and has appeared at various court houses across Alberta ranging from High Level and Fort McMurray to Edmonton, St. Paul, Red Deer, Calgary and most of those in between.
